Reach for the STARs
Helping children, families, and schools achieve their goals
Welcome to the research team website of Dr. Ingrid Sladeczek in the Faculty of Education at McGill University.
Dr. Sladeczek's research team consists of graduate students in School/Applied Child Psychology, Human Development, and Educational Psychology (to name a few) who are working on their Master’s or Doctoral degrees; and dedicated volunteers who have the opportunity to engage in a number of intervention studies all related to service providers, schools, families, and children who are at-risk or identified as having a developmental disability, behavioural/learning disability, or systemic factors that impinge on children’s and families ability to function (e.g., radicalization, violence). Our team collaborates with community organizations, clinicians, other researchers, school boards, and policy makers across Canada and around the world.
On our website, you will find information on our team members as well as summaries of both past and ongoing projects. If you are interested in finding out more about our research team or actually joining our team, please visit the Contact Us page, where you can ask us more specific questions, make comments, or just make an initial first contact.
